Built for real training sessions

Frequently Asked Questions

The timer stops when my screen locks

Go to Settings in the app and make sure "Keep screen on" is enabled. This keeps your display active during your entire training session.

I can't hear the bell sound

Check the following: make sure "Timer sounds" is enabled in Settings, check the volume slider in Settings, and make sure your device volume is turned up. Combat Timer plays audio even when your device is set to silent mode.

How do I create a custom workout?

Tap the Workout tab, then tap the + button in the top right corner. Set your rounds, round time, rest time, and optionally a warm-up and cool-down. Tap Save — your workout is now available with one tap.

How do I use a preset?

When creating a new workout, tap the Template button next to the name field. Choose from presets across Boxing, Combat Sports, and Conditioning categories. The preset loads all settings instantly — you can adjust them before saving.

How do I skip to the next round?

During an active session, tap the arrow on the right side of the phase name to skip forward. Tap the arrow on the left to go back to the previous phase.

Can I lock the screen during training?

Yes. Go to Settings and enable "Lock on start". Once the timer starts the screen is locked to prevent accidental taps. Hold the screen for 1 second to unlock.

Combat Timer Pro

What do I get with Combat Timer Pro?

Combat Timer Pro unlocks additional workout templates across Boxing, Combat Sports, and Conditioning, and removes all ads from the app — including the banner shown during an active timer session.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Combat Timer Pro is billed and managed through your Apple ID, not through Digital Diamonds directly. To view, change, or cancel it: open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions and select Combat Timer Pro. You can also open Combat Timer, go to Settings, and tap "Manage Subscription" to jump straight there.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are issued by Apple, not by Digital Diamonds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, or from your device via Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

I reinstalled the app (or got a new phone) and lost my Pro status

Open Combat Timer, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases". This restores Combat Timer Pro based on the active subscription on your Apple ID, at no extra charge.
